Outbound workflows and CRM handoff
Connect PropertyCMS to the tools your team already uses.
Choose meaningful events, apply conditions and field mappings, then deliver through a supported CRM connector or an approved HTTPS destination.
- Direct Salesforce Lead handoff
- Selected event subscriptions and delivery history
- Zapier, Make, Slack, Teams, or custom HTTPS
01 / Choose the signal
Automate from a real event, not a scraped inbox.
Subscriptions can listen for supported events such as leads, showing activity, applications, or property changes. Conditions keep irrelevant records from leaving the platform.
- Versioned event types
- Conditional delivery rules
- Field mapping and bounded payloads
02 / Protect the handoff
Authenticate requests and make delivery state visible.
Custom automation requests can use signing secrets, while direct CRM connectors use provider authorization. Timeouts, retries, and delivery history keep a slow destination from taking down the core site.
- Rotatable webhook signing secrets
- Encrypted connector credentials
- Bounded timeouts, retries, and diagnostics
03 / Be precise
Use a direct connector only where the contract is real.
Salesforce can receive new leads through its REST API. Zapier and Make can receive generic webhook payloads; Slack and Teams receive notification-shaped envelopes. Other PMS or CRM workflows still require a supported connector or documented custom mapping.
- Salesforce Lead connector
- Custom HTTPS and automation presets
- Clear ownership of downstream behavior

QUESTIONS
Scope and specifics
Decide with the boundaries in view.
Have a requirement not covered here? Ask the PropertyCMS team.
Is this a native integration with every PMS?
No. Salesforce Lead is a direct connector; PropertyCMS also provides outbound webhooks and automation presets. Other systems may require a custom workflow or future provider support.
What happens if the destination is down?
Delivery is decoupled from the visitor request and uses bounded attempts. A slow or failing endpoint should not take down the public site.
Can we rotate integration credentials?
Yes. Authorized tenant administrators can update connector credentials, and signed webhook secrets support a coordinated overlap.
